Betsy Dokken

Betsy Dokken, NP, MSN, CDE
Diabetes Nurse Practitioner, Arizona Health Sciences Center, Tucson Arizona

Betsy Dokken is a diabetes specialist with 17 years of experience in diabetes treatment, professional and patient education, and is a nationally known speaker in the field of diabetes. She has been a certified diabetes educator since 1988. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in the department of physiology at The University of Arizona College of Medicine.

 

The Arizona Diabetes Virtual Center of Excellence (ADVICE) is a comprehensive program for diabetes prevention, assessment, and management utilizing the Arizona Telemedicine Program Network.

ADVICE is partially supported by the Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (OAT), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
